Salvaged large quantity of rough sawn mostly hardwood with some cottonwood/poplar and Tamarack. These are side cutscut from re-milled timber mats that will be used for timber furniture for the Theodore Roosevelt Presidential Library project coming next year.
Most are 18 feet long, with some really cool variations in thicknesses. Some are large thick 2” + beams, all the way down to less than half inch. Generally, the boards have one fresh cut side and one rough original timber cut side, with bolt holes every 4ft to 6ft. Very little decay, but with some breakage on thin pieces.
Species include Red Oak, Ash, Tamarack, Poplar/Cottonwood, small percentages of Maple, White Oak, Walnut, and others.
There is something like 2000 board feet in total that could be available for $.50/board foot if picked up in Minnetonka/Hopkins or
$.75/board foot delivered. This pricing would be available for the whole lot. Smaller quantities will be priced according to species and amount purchased.
contact Ben@lumberstash.com if you are interested in the whole lot or maybe to make a deal on specific species.
It would be our preference to have a customer look at the material and ask questions before entertaining offers/setting up delivery so we make sure there's no opportunity for misunderstanding.
